Note: Please follow these instructions.  Sometimes you can’t find our address or road, on a street map or in a GPS system but you can try looking for “am Kahlenberg”. 

From Grinzing (approx. 7 minutes) by car:

-Drive through Grinzing on the Himmelstrasse following the signs for the

Höhenstrasse. Once you are on the Höhenstrasse you will know it; a winding

road through the woods. You will reach a fork in the road, follow the

Kahlenberg sign to the right.

-Continue on until you reach an enormous parking lot. Drive straight along

the right side of the parking lot and park.

- * (From here approx. 2 minutes) Walk toward the restaurant and the church. On the other side of the traffic island you will see a green “Wurstlstand” and a souvenir stand (left of the church).  A small road runs in front of the “Wurstlstand”.  Walk down that road toward the yellow house on the left. The church is now on your right!  This is a dead-end road. Walk toward the end of the road.

- On your left you will see a large wooden gate with the yellow house next to it. The gates will be open – come on in!

Note: We have three large but friendly dogs who will greet you.

NOTE: Do not drive up the Kahlenbergerstrasse and do not go to

Kahlenbergerdorf. You can only reach the house from the Höhenstrasse, either

from Klosterneuburg or the Grinzing side (this also means Neustift-am-Walde

etc.).

By Public (approx. 35 minutes):

For help finding your way here go to: Public Transportation Information. Klick “English” in the right upper corner.  You can enter the address or “am Kahlenberg” as “stop”.  The last bus of the day departs the Kahlenberg at 22.37.

--From Heiligenstadt (U4) take the 38A bus which says "Kahlenberg", not "Wagenwiese" to the end station (the huge parking lot on the Kahlenberg). Follow directions from * above.

--From Schottentor catch the 38 Straßenbahn to Grinzing. Catch the 38A Bus from there to end. Follow directions from * above.

Note: Do not get off the bus on the Cobenzl.
